1Terrible QualityNov 26, 2009
This phone was terrible from the start. The screen would flash in and out and it would freeze constantly. These clam shell phones are known for having problems with their screens. I will never buy a clamshell phone again. I ended up bying a cheap Chinese phone because I thought it would be better than this miserable phone, and it is.

1If I could rate this phone a negative, I wouldNov 05, 2009
I bought this phone through AT&T, not Amazon, but regardless of where you buy this phone you'll be getting the same results: Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk!

At first, this phone was nice, decent, it worked. I wasn't especially happy with the internet features though (It lacked greatly when it came to loading different pages. For the most part I was stuck on a limited facebook and looking at google search results.)

However, the phone soon began to show signs of faultiness: the longer a word was, the more lag created (5 letters or more)/ the phone itself would stop working for periods of time (today in fact it worked three times, just long enough to send a text each time.)

The phone now almost never turns on, and the few times it does turn on it barely works. This phone is complete junk and anyone that buys it will be wasting precious money. If you don't believe me, just check AT&T's site. They've gotten so many complaints that they've discontinued the phones production in the WNY area.

4Best phone I've had in yearsApr 02, 2009
I have almost nothing to complain about with this phone other than it will ocassionally on it's own change the volume and ring setting. For those of you that have problems with earpiece volume, this phone has one the loudest and clearest of any phone I've owned. Yes, I've heard that if this phone is dropped, it will shatter into a million pieces. I dropped mine twice and nothing happened. I might have been lucky, but just don't drop the phone. The buttons are a little touchy and sometimes it's necessary to be careful. Overall, it's been a great phone for me, and although my 2 years are up and I'm eligible for a new phone, I'm keeping this one.

2KRZR--Not a good decisionFeb 26, 2009
I was all excited when I got my Krzr because it fit conveinently in my pocket and wouldn't randomly dial my friends. However, those were the only 2 redeeming characteristics of this phone.

The buttons are small, and even though I'm a tiny person with small fingers I continually pressed mutiple buttons. This makes text messaging so frustrating that I virtually quit texting my friends.

Also, this phone will continually buzz or beep when it has a new voicemail...roughly once an hour. However, if you are going in and out of service (say in a stadium or just driving) it will go off every time you leave and enter a service area. There is NO way to make this stop (unless you turn all alerts on your phone off). It will drive you insane.

Finally, after having this phone a short time, it began freezing up. Sometimes it would let me shut down and reboot, other times I had to wait for the battery to die. After I picked up a call, sometimes it would still ring. Other times, it would ring when I had the phone on vibrate. When I went to the store to complain about these problems I was told that this was a crappy phone, and the only reason they were pushed was because of promotions. So, thank you sprint and motorola for promoting such a POS phone. I will definitely be more responsible when I upgrade.

4Over 2 years of this little phone...Jul 17, 2008
I'm fixing to trade my 2nd little KRZR in on a new phone. I'm gonna miss the KRZR... it's one of the coolest looking phones I've ever seen. My first KRZR I had was AWESOME, great sound, great camera, great apps, great everything. Then I dropped it in the pool. I had insurance so for $50 they sent me a new one... This one was a refurb and I could tell the side buttons didn't work that good, they were loose. The only major problems I've had is that the buttons are cheap, along with the screen (both plastic that comes off very easily) also the speaker on mine just BOOM got quiet, now it's like volume 7 is volume 2. It's not just me either no one can hear on my KRZR anymore. I was up for an upgrade so I figured it's time to trade the poor little thing in. The bluetooth isn't the greatest... it sends pics, ringtones, blah blah but it's hard to find most other phones. It could just be shy or anti-social I don't know. Mine has been through a lot of talking though I have about 2,000 hours on it. I talk all the time. I'm not sure if that's a lot of hours compared to the amount of wear and tear on it or not. The back plate of the phone (the battery cover) is peeling but I've never had it fall off. Battery life is pretty good. I don't text so keeping that in mind the keys are okay minus the cheap fact, but nothing that super glue can't fix. The memory expanding is awesome, I didn't really need to buy a memory card because this phone has over 19,900 KB but I got it anyways and it's very handy. The camera is cool, it comes with some different editting options. You can set different ringtones for different people along with pics (of course).

Overall, GREAT phone with just a few minor details.
